She sat high above the jungle floor like  something the forest had grown itself. Wild grasses and flowers spilled around her, woven by hands that understood the language of the jungle long before maps or borders existed. Even though she was just a child she looked ancient. Like a daughter born from the roots themselves, raised by the earth. The kind of presence you don’t forget once you’ve seen it.
